Born into an active family, I was introduced to sport and healthy living from a young age. My father encouraged me to try different disciplines, while my mother was a constant support during training and competitions.

At seven, I chose volleyball as my sport, drawn to its rhythm, energy, and teamwork. It quickly became more than just a game, it became a passion.

By eleven, I was competing internationally, gaining valuable experience on and off the court. These trips didn’t just develop my athletic ability, they also sparked a deep love for travel and cultural connection.

About Macarena

At eighteen, I moved from Chile to Argentina to study Physical Education. During my time at university, I began coaching volleyball for children, a moment that revealed my love for teaching and mentoring others through movement.

Near the end of my studies, I discovered Pilates, diving into training across Mat, Reformer, and studio equipment. The method’s focus on control, alignment, and the mind-body connection deeply resonated with me.

After graduating, I moved to Australia, where I began coaching beach volleyball professionally. Over time, my work evolved to include wellness coaching, combining everything I’d learned.

Today, I teach over 25 private Pilates sessions each week, focusing on the attitude we bring to movement to gain the best benefits, and in the summer, I also coach a community of girls in beach volleyball.

I continue sharing movement with the same love and energy that have guided my journey.
